I just ordered a 40 pin wide socket from web-tronics for $10.60 quatitiy 1. http://www.web-tronics.com/general-supplies-for-electronics-sockets-universal-test-sockets.html A plain 40 pin (.6 center I assume, it actually doesn't say) is even cheaper $6.25. http://www.web-tronics.com/general-supplies-for-electronics-sockets-low-cost-zif-sockets.html I'm not affiliated with them or anything. I placed the order yesterday, so I haven't seen anything yet. Their web site says they ship to Canada using USPS Global Express to avoid a $40 UPS customs fee. Minimum order $15 bucks. -Charlie On Tue, Jan 14, 2003 at 11:48:08PM -0600, Josh Koffman wrote: > Jai, I can buy them locally.
