There are some hooks that make this work.  When I tried MPLAB 6 (5.99)
there was no source-level stepping like this.  That's still on
the coming-soon list for 6.

There are plenty of places that are inappropriate for setting
breakpoints.  But in the one that works, you still get
a context menu, with "Run to here" greyed out.   In the
broken one, you don't get a menu at all.
