I think I saw something about this on BBC News 24, that had just been
prototyped (in working) at the Detroit motorshow. - apparently it works
fairly well (ie safely), personally I don't like the look of it though - car
was serving around all over the place.

Now...thats what we need for all cars...think of it.  You are driving along
and the guy in front of you slows down...for whatever reason.  Computer then
gives you a choice of change lanes...if its clear, or it will automatically
slow you down....so you don't rear end them.
