Hi,

As for the techsupport - I don't know their Linux version - is a mixed
match. I've heard stories about people receiving testversions after
a day or two, to make sure the reported bug is fixed. In other stories,
they shine bright in their non-communicativeness. Just give it a whirl,
as their product - when it's working as it should - is pretty good.

As for other issues, delve through the archives, there have been a fair
amount of discussions on CCS and other compilers.

Hello all, is anyone else using CCS under linux?  I bought PCH for
18-series parts, and I'm having one failure after another:

Before I wade into dealing with their tech support, or getting help on
their forum, I'd like to get a sense that this is a battle worth
fighting.  Can anyone share an opinion?  If I will be spending as much
time dealing with CCS and the compiler as I am on the actual project I
will just attempt to get my money back or use the windows version.  The
fact that their samples crash really makes me worried that "QA" is
nonexistent for linux.
