Hello all, is anyone else using CCS under linux? I bought PCH for 18-series parts, and I'm having one failure after another: compiler crashes in a variety of situations: #include , use #opt directive, other situations I can't pin down, even some of their examples crash. "latest version" on website isn't - and CCS did not update it after a phone call pointing this out on 12/31 error messages give wrong line number - often off by 1 error messages highly cryptic and sometimes misleading (undoubtedly not linux specific) It doesn't seem that the windows version has these problems. I get the strong feeling that the linux version is the ugly stepchild at CCS - either some lone linux engineer guy there wanted it or someone in marketing wanted to be able to say CCS supports linux. Before I wade into dealing with their tech support, or getting help on their forum, I'd like to get a sense that this is a battle worth fighting. Can anyone share an opinion? If I will be spending as much time dealing with CCS and the compiler as I am on the actual project I will just attempt to get my money back or use the windows version. The fact that their samples crash really makes me worried that "QA" is nonexistent for linux. Thank you.
