TTYL Feel very sure, and one piece of "evidence" that backs this up is that I originally had everything bolted to a piece of wood -- inverter, PS, circuitry, and HD. This sat on the car seat and did not have the crashing. Later, I moved the circuitry and HD to an aluminum enclosure and put it on the wood, which was on the car seat. Same PS. There was one crash. Finally, I moved the whole setup to the car floor, and it crashes regularly. Eventually, I intend to move this to the trunk (harsh), so even if it did not crash now, I would feel very very uncomfortable w/o using a proper suspension system.
