You can use any coil.  The voltage produced is equal to:

V=2*Pi*Freg*Area*B

B is mag field in Tesla's.  Area is meters squared.  If you resonate,
multiply by the Q of the tank.  Beware of the self resonance of the inductor
/ coil if you are using at high frequencies.

Impedance will be the reactance of the tank plus any considerable winding
resistance... beware how you load (or load wisely).

I have had much success in using this down to 0.1nT @ 15Khz.

You can precision rectify and average for DC indications.
