You can make low ESR caps by putting a number of
caps in parallel, I have done this in a pinch when
repairing certain switcher PSUs where I didn't have
the exact cap in stock. I test with a ESR meter, I
have a couple of the www.jaycar.com.au kit ones and
recommend them highly. :o)
