While I don't really know much about Microsloth's plans for the XBox in the future, this month's Wired magazine has an interesting discussion about it. While the article wasn't about the XBox's future in particular, they do manage to say that basically they've somewhat given up on dominating with the current hardware, and are hard at work inventing a new machine to dominate with. The article also mentions that this is a bit of folly, as it seem that it isn't the prowess of the machine that dominates (as in the XBox) but the software available for a machine that causes it to dominate (as in the PS2). Just what I can remember anyways...
