Hi, Does anyone here know of a program that's capable of reading and writing a PIC12C508A/JW using a "JDM" PIC programmer (http://www.jdm.homepage.dk/newpic.htm) under Linux? None of the software I've managed to track down can do it and I'm having a lot of "fun" (ho hum) writing software to drive the JDM. This thing is worse than Maplin's butchered version of David Tait's parallel programmer... BTW, does anyone know if the output of a Maxim MAX662 "12V FLASH Voltage Converter" IC will produce enough voltage to kick a PIC into Program mode? I'm planning to modify the PSU section of the Tait programmer to steal power from my laptop's PS/2 keyboard port, then build a prototype. Thanks. -- Phil. philpem@dsl.pipex.com http://www.philpem.dsl.pipex.com/ -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
