There are a few fatal flaws to the mathematical calculations. Firstly, the method you described was only used when there were significantly less children in the world. The important thing you missed is that Santa is a major user of modern technology. He has been cloned (I've seen him in almost every mall I've been to) and he has added a warp drive mechanism to each of his sleighs. Also with the advent of his new heads up display he is able to lock on target with the radar on top of his sleigh (similar to Longbow Apache) allowing him to quickly go from house to house and never get lost. The last issue is the question about how many presents he has to carry at once. With the advent of just-on-time delivery Santa is able to keep his sleigh light and pick up presents as he goes around the world. I hope hope everyone has a happy holidays and healthy new year, Marc P.S. If these ramblings make no sense, I'm sorry. I just finished exams yesterday and now that I woke up today my head is still spinning -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
