Hi Dave,
    Your reply has triggered a thought which may solve an upcoming problem
for me. I need to be able to give a customer the ability to call a function
within code that I have written, but, I don't want to give him my source. Is
it possible using the method described in your reply i.e. a runtime library,
to allow him to compile his code together with my functions without him ever
having to see my source?

If so - I've got my Christmas hols reading material all sorted!
