It was for a project that had a serial interface to a PC=20 and there were commands to write and read the on board EEPROM=20 from the PC. I let it run on nights and weekends and the EEPROM=20 failed after about 12 milion writes on one single address. The=20 data sheet says minimum endurance is 100 000 erase/write cycles=20 and typical 1 million.
