Hello all,

I'm researching the AD10 format as used in certain maritime compass sensors.
Does anyone have a pointer or information as how this format is laid out? I
did some extensive googling about, but AD10 isn't exactly a good search
term...

Furthermore, I'm also looking for a way to create a sine/cosine heading
signal from a PIC. We're currently using the 16F877, going to the 18F458
in the (near) future. Both PWM's are in use, so they are out of the
question.
Maybe my question is not so much how to create it, but more how such
a signal should look.
