Would be interesting to see a big array of smallish (5 - 10 inch or so)
computer style brushless fans. There would be built in redundancy...if
one unit broke, there would be others still operating. Plus they already
have impellers on them. Admittedly not as efficient as those huge ones
used for commercial power generation. But then, with smaller ones you're
unlikely to get the kind of force needed to snap 4" bolts, as I saw on
TV once. :)
