They were all bent in half but > soemone's been around and had a go at straightening them My dad sold a house for removal this week so we watched it leave. Amazing to watch, one load was 11m wide. They clipped some of those small arrow signs but they (mostly) bounce back. The lights on a pole at pedestrian crossings have a bolt at the bottom that they take out and then it hinges down flat. Give way signs get pulled up and replanted after. Guys busy everywhere, racing ahead dropping poles, pushing up power lines, checking clearences, putting things back into shape afterward. The trailer was cool though. Self leveling hydraulic. PIC in there? Manual control to raise/lower/tilt. Power pack on the trailer runs it all. I'm sure they could do with some remote cameras so the driver can see what's happening at the sides and on top. -- Brent Brown, Electronic Design Solutions 16 English Street, Hamilton, New Zealand Ph/fax: +64 7 849 0069 Mobile/txt: 025 334 069 eMail: brent.brown@clear.net.nz -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
