Can the SN75176 be used with the pic uart (232) to output rs485 signals?  Do
you have a sample schematic?

We've been using the SN75176 by TI.
We're driving this directly with a PIC, so it may not be exactly what you
are looking for, but seeing as this is the PIClist......
