The only one it looks like I can't cheat, though, is that the 16F84 executes a "Begin Program" instruction immediately after the "Bulk Erase" and then waits 10 msec, whereas the 12F675 is supposed to wait Tera immediatedly after "Bulk Erase". Doing OSCCAL and the BG bits manually is a pain, but manageable -- but of course it's academic now, since I can't to it at all! So what's the alternative? Is there a chip supported by the YAP-2 that has a compatible Erase procedure? I still don't want to have to buy another programmer.... Maybe I can program a 16F84 to send out the right bit pattern for it.....hmmmmm........ __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus Powerful. Affordable.
