I want to run some cable out into my garden to operate three solenoids
(300mA at 15VDC) in my watering system. How do I know what sized cable I
should use?

There is a conduit with a right angle bend in it underneath a path that I
will need to feed the cable/s through so they will need to be flexible and
not too big. I'll also be running a 6 core cable for three soil moisture
meters that I intend to install. Since the conduit isn't over sized I
really want to use the smallest cables possible.
