The systems offered by car manufacturers seem to work pretty well. My car has an RF chip in the key. It doesn't matter what you do, the car is not going to start unless you have one of the trusted keys, and making it accept a new trusted key requires you to have two already trusted keys. Not to mention the sensors on doors and trunk that can tell if it's a key opening the car as opposed to something else. Added bonus: insurance discount for having factory anti-theft rather than add-on. But I suppose if you get your jollies fantasizing about how you're going to take revenge on evildoers, your system has the edge. -Bob -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
