I found this link by first going to the Palm site and then choosing the tab labeled "Developers" along the top of the page. You will find a wealth of information here. I've connected several devices to my Palm and it's really quite straight forward. A Google websearch will turn up programming packages for the Palm, including the popular CodeWarrior C/C++ compiler. Freeware languages are also available. A Palm-based device for bootstrap/field programming of PIC devices would be an interesting project.
