It wont work when a dos application insists on FUll SCREEN MODE only and is in graphics mode. If it is in FULL SCREEN MODE and Text Mode, PrtSc will copy the raw text to the clipboard. If it is in a Windowed box in Text or Graphics mode Alt PrtScr will faithfully capture the image but that seems to be the only time.
