I think he meant that relying on accuracy exceeding the Microchip specs is
bad, not using the internal oscillator if the published accuracy is
acceptable.  The internal oscillator can be a very cost effective way to
clock a PIC (I've done this a bunch of times) - as long as you aren't
counting on more accuracy than what Microchip promises.
