I agree with you in most cases. However, the application in serial
comms. For a regular non exact timer, internal RC is fine. As the OP
mentioned in another post, if you go by the data sheet, at the ends of
the specified ranges, the frequency would be too far off. But then, he
said he could just test each unit, so that may be the easiest solution.
