Another option might be to buy a cheap hobbyist CNC machine and
change the routing tools to Draughtmans Ink pens.

There's a German firm who have a kit about 700 Euros, for a=
 record
player platter style 3 head machine - put together bit like an=
 Airfix
kit -now that dates me, I reckon the drill bits could be replaced=
 by
pens.
