Another great reason why use ink-jet, old PCB fighter Roman have not mentioned, is the ability to produce _VERY_ big PCBs very cheaply. Imagine big indicator panel about 0.4m x 1m. Even from Olimex this PCB could cost hundreds $. With A2 ink-jet printer it could cost 10 times less. The cost of the "system-on-pcb" gets reasonable. Mike.
