Hi there, I used the JDM2001 programmer, which is a newer version of the jdm84 = programmer with no problems on the 16F877 and 16F876. Just watch out there is a = newer version called JDM2003 which fixed bugs to Frogram the Flash series of PICS. I programmed the 876 and 877 = through the ICSP port.
