Has anybody used any of these devices with a PIC?  We're having all kinds
of fun -

the DS1306 xtal doesn't appear to be oscillating
the values read back out of the chip don't make any sense

I haven't gotten to test the MAX and ADC parts yet - hopefully they will be
cleaner.

Any pointers would be appreciated.
