Gain, quitting and restarting restores normal operation. It only seems to happen when I'm using an old clunker of a PC running Win95 in our lab. It's never happened running it under NT4 on my desktop PC. Talking of bugs, have you tried MPLAB 6.00.20? The HiTech C integration is shockingly bad, it dosen't remember command line switches that I set and trying to simulate any of my code written in C causes a wierd crash with different source windows continuously flicking up under I give it the three finger salute.
