Maybe try a high power ultrasonic system, I believe that birds in general have excellent and quite sensitive hearing in the >20kHz range. Some cheap 100W hifi piezos spread around and a nasty high-power (300W??) squarewave driver, changing notes randomly and with random timing but all ultrasonic. You should be able to get it so irritating that no bird will stay in there very long.
