I have had 18F252 and 18F452 running at about 58Mhz internaly and had no problem at all with them. You have to adjust timing and set registers a bit different but I found no reliability problems with short term use. Not done any long term use though. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stefano" To: Sent: Saturday, October 26, 2002 9:27 PM Subject: Re: [PIC]: overclocking PIC18Fxx2 > I was able to select some 18F252s running at 48MHz. > The 18FXX20 have BIG problems above 32MHz. > > SC > > > > Hi piclisters, > > > > Please don't start the answer to my question with remarks like: > > "read the datasheet" or "overclocking is not allowed" ;) > > > > I just want to now if someone has tried to overclock a little the > > 18F in HS/PLL mode, and which was the shortest clock instruction cycle > > achieved. > > > > thx, > > Vasile > > http://www.geocities.com/vsurducan > > > > -- > > http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList > > mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu > > > > > > -- > http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different > ways.
