Well, Farnell states "Life (min) 25.000 cycles" for a ZIF, 40 way, 0.3 - 0.6 ZIP socket (ARIES). It's about 19 USD when bying 1-10. Then there is som 3M ZIF's at about 30 USD a piece, but with no specified min cycles, and also a "economy" socket for about 15 USD also with no specified min cycles.
