Well, I wasn't specific about "D" or "S" -RAM, it just don't have to be non-volatile
as the FRAMs or EEPROMs. Static RAM is an option.

Do you mean that there *is* some SRAM that works more or less (regarding
the "interface") as the FRAMs or EEPROMs ?
