Just to add something.. it seems to always differ by a bit. For eg, if I want to program 3DFD, it will give me 3FFD. It does this for every combo. I also tried switching computers, and pics, and software to David Tait's FPP. I still got the same error (cannot program config bit). I have tried it with 3 different PIC's. Any suggestions will be nice, thanx Jai Quoting Jai Dhar : > Hi, > > I recently made a TLVP for my 16f628. When programming, I use picprg for > linux. It sais something like 2007: 3FFD > != > 3DFD. Then when I read the PIC back, in position 2007, it has 07C0 in the > 2007 > field. Are there specific bits I have to set for LVP?
