Does anyone know how to solder (or otherwise attach) wires to the backs of solar cells mounted on glass? I have tried a few things and can't make it work. Either it doesn't seem to get hot enough or the glass breaks. I had some promising results with those "broken" silicon solar cells you can get, by using a mixture of elmers glue and powdered graphite (lubricant) to GLUE fine wires to the appropriate contacts. Not good for a lot of current, of course, but generally you're not getting a lot of current from a solar cell anyway :-) BillW -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
