The patent number should be 6,043,695, issued March 2000, filed in 1998. If I recall correctly, it was the reverse insertion of an N-channel Mosfet in the low side of the load. I found this patent interesting about a year ago or so and we examined it thoroughly. I also discovered 2 issuances of prior art, much greater than the one year prior to filing. Craig R.
