Can anyone please tell me whether there are any restrictions on the =
state of pins other than those used during the programming cycle?

I.e., Apart from _MCLR, RB6, RB7 (and obviously power supply and ground) =
does it matter whether I connect any positive voltage or ground to any =
other pin while I'm programming a PIC?  Some simple programming circuits =
leave them floating, but to simplify in-circuit programming, I would =
like to leave some pins connected.
