What does the list know about micropets and especially hacking micropets ? ;-)

I cannot find a hacker site for this ;-). The things contain two little
motors that allow them to move on a table, and some sort of circuits that
do limited voice control (more like counting words or sounds). They are
really small. I saw them in a toy shop (and resisted temptation to buy
them).
