Where is the real Olin? I mean the one who usually answers these questions
with a pointer to piclist.com and urging the user to check his or her mail
status? Hmm, looks like he's gone. Oh well...

JK, look at http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist/listfaq.htm. Here you see
some explanation about the commands you can send. In short, you have to send
a mail to LISTSERV@MITVMA.MIT.EDU with SET PICLIST MAIL in the body of the
mail. This will probably get you back on.

For the record, the list is alive. You are probably just subscribed. And
this message is no hallucination. Save your bucks on the psych and go buy
some piclist mugs instead.
