I have both the TDS2024 and TDS3034. I like both, but do prefer the 3000 series. The screen is nicer then the 2000 series. Having said that the 2000 series is nice as far as it goes. Although it is a digital storage scope, there are limitations in how far off the screen you can set the trigger point. I found the screen resolution was lacking under some circumstances, which caused me to swap to the 3000 as soon as I could. However at less than half the price of the 3034, the 2024 would have to be considered good value for what you get. I would strongly recommend getting one on demonstration before firmly committing yourself. Give it a good workout over the weekend, and see how you like it. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
