My milliAmps worth (To keep it somewhat on topic) I've been on the list for a few years now. What you see now is the end result many years of hard work by the members and especially the admin. The tag system is there especially to keep things on track and it works. You don't like OT posts, go switch it off. See piclist.com. It is human nature to talk about non related stuff, and a lot of guys would like to discuss it with their peers, which in this case is fellow picsters. As for repeated posts from new comers et all (What do I do with my unused pins? - type of questions) there is the piclist.com. If you are wondering where all the "unsubscrible" jokes come from: before James added footnotes to every email, a lot of people asked on the list how to unsubscribe and a lot can't unsubscribe because they can't spell. We used to get a request every other day, now it is down to just about nothing. If in doubt, see piclist.com. Want to sent web based emails with tags scripted in the subject line? See piclist.com. OK, you see me hammering on piclist.com. James Newton and admin did a lot of work creating it to help us with piclist. All these problems and questions about the structure of the list are addressed there with lots of extra information for new comers on PICs and the piclist. Oh, we have heard about the list "deteriorating" for years now. This is the end result. OK, I'll get of the PIC box now. Quentin -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
