With all the current you will be utilizing even when multiplexing, =
however wild, you may consider a LCD. Six I/O's are required for data & =
control and with a backlight.  Typically a yellow backgroud with black =
characters.  Plus you can display anything you want. I've just completed =
a -80 to + 160 Deg C, 0.2% thermometer that drives a glass only LCD with =
a pic16.  Just a taught maybe your parts list and current consumption =
could potentially be more feesable.  Got lot of LCD routines 4 u. Good =
