I have seen this at work.  It depended on which printer I was using so I
assumed that it was not a problem with Eagle but with the printer
driver.  The color Xerox would only print blocks, and the older B/W
Xerox worked fine.

  No direct help but you might check to see that you have the latest
drivers installed.
