I did a dopey thing. After backing up HDD files to a CD I deleted both the HDD originals (which I wanted to do) and also accidentally the CD files. On the HDD they were in a folder but on the CD they are loose files, so it didn't register that I'd deleted the same thing twice. I was checking the CD and just lost track of which folder I was in when I dumped them to the Recycle Bin, which was then emptied, so they ain't nowhere no more. The space on the CD is still occupied by the files (~100MB) although of course there are no file names shown. I'm hoping there's a way to re-enable them.
