What's the issue? Why would I want to Java-ize gpsim?

I haven't followed this thread. In fact, for the last few days I haven't
followed any threads. Over the last few weeks the S/N ratio of the OTLIST
(used to be the PICLIST) has plummetted. Sigh. The message labeling junk
only promotes this. But despite resenting the labelling, I finally had no
choice but to block the OT crap.
