Hi Alan, I've worked with these before in the big
package and they get HOT.
Vce SAT is about 1.5v at 350mA and near 2v at the
max current of 500mA. The DIP is rated at 1W max
package dissipation, and I imagine the SMD chip
is rated a lot less. That won't go far with 8
transistors with lousy sat voltages.

What about a SMD mosfet pack with 4 fets in a device
etc?
