I have a nifty old DL-1000 10Base-T hub that has a lot of nice features.

It has:
12 x RJ45
1 x BNC
1 x AUI
1 x uplink port
1 x downlink port

The problem is that I can't find any information about it.  As near as I can
tell, D-Link is now not even admitting that it exists.  I've looked on their
website for material in the past, and found nothing.  Any references I've
found on the web have not held any links to documentation.

What I want to know is how to use the uplink/downlink ports, by that, I mean
how do I use those ports to connect to other hubs, or even to servers.

I realise that hubs are not the greatest of networking devices, but I
already have it, and I'd like to know how to use it :)

Oh, and I know what a collision is, but what's jabber?
