ATmega169: Low power LCD device Among the brand new features in this device is a LCD=20 interface! (25x4). The Device is only available in a=20 64-pin TQFP, and have 53 general IO lines and in=20 addition a input only pin is added to the RESET pin.=20 (making it the AVR with most IO lines!)=20 Another interesting feature is the possibility of=20 generating interrupt on 17 external pins! This is 5 more=20 than ATtiny26 which rank #2 on the external interrupts=20 rating. The memories are 16kB Flash, 512B EE and 1kB=20 SRAM, in other words a standard 16k memory configuration.=20 Another very interesting feature is that this device=20 runs @ 1.8V and contains an ADC. Because of the low=20 voltage, the internal voltage reference on this device=20 is 1.1V compared to 2.56V on all other AVRs.=20 The ATmega169 is also very power efficient. From the=20 datasheet:=20 -Active Mode:=20 1 MHz, 1.8V: 300=B5A=20 32 kHz, 1.8V: 20=B5A (including Oscillator)=20 32 kHz, 1.8V: TBD (including Oscillator and LCD)=20 -Power-down Mode:=20 0.5=B5A at 1.8V=20 http://www.avrfreaks.net/Devices/devices.php?action=3D1&devid=3D71 ------------------------------- Mike. -- http://www.piclist.com hint: To leave the PICList mailto:piclist-unsubscribe-request@mitvma.mit.edu
