What kind of speed are you looking for?  It faster than harddisk as there is
no moving part at all.  The beauty is it does not crash.  But ... Be careful
that the OS virtual memory would eat up your flash in no time.

They are some good deal on ebay, the last time I checked some even have
mountable casing.
