Here is something I have just never seen but need something to make this next = project work. We have a barrel type push button switch with LED inside, so there are 4 = connectors on the end of the barrel, they stick straight out and are meant to = be soldered to or have a spade type connector slide onto them. What I want is a socket type connector so the switch will plug into the PCB at = a right angle and no soldering or flying leads to connect, we are adding 8 = switches so this will save much cost if it can be done. I have contemplated small copper pieces bent 90 degrees and two of them side by = side in a small opening in PCB similar to a 110AC wall plug but this would have = implications at the wave solder station and be hard to deal with. Any ideas people? I could send a picture of the connector on end of switch to anyone wanting a = better idea.
